You're right. Thanks for pointing that out. I'm not sure how I missed it since it's right there in black and white.

I feel pretty much like you do that this is just another case of a cheater getting caught and then acting indignant when his account is suspended but it is a slightly different case simply by virtue of being on Second Life. Because you can buy and sell properties, objects, and even Linden Dollars all with the consent of Linden Labs it creates more of a 'real value' for those items, if you know what I mean.

To clarify your statements, it does seem the Mr. Bragg does have 'Jason Arcihiano' representing him as mentioned in the article.

I am not familiar with the EULA for Second Life, but most, if not all MMO's that I've played mentioned that all game items / properties / characters are really the property of the company and that by paying your subscription, etc... the company effectively licenses you the right to use that 'virtual' property.

All of that aside. In this particular case, it seems like Mr. Bragg took advantage of a 'bug' in the system and as such he feels entitled to his prize. That theme seems to be repeated often by people who take advantage of the game mechanics in unintended ways and react vocally when they are caught and punished per their original agreement with the company.

On the surface, this just seems like another person whining to get attention... Not that there is anything wrong with that, as long as you and others see it for what it is.
